Van recovered from that wolf attack way too easily

Literally the whole left side of her face was ripped open, you could see her fucking teeth, she was practically dead, then they did a DIY stitch job and she was fine, now its just a few tiny lines on her face, not even a big deep scar, just as if a cat scratched her.

I mean out there with no medicine, nothing to properly clean the wound, disinfect it, just some dirty rags wrapped over it, that would've been infected as hell.

I agree with you, and it is ridiculous. But maybe the god of the wilderness helped to heal her? I know that's unrealistic, but this is a tv show and supernatural elements are in it.

Van actually did a "second" resurrection for Season 2 - by being alive as an adult when it was assumed in season 1 that she was not alive in Season 1. Maybe there's more to Van.

In a deleted scene from "Burial" (Showtime released the script), Lottie specifically asks Van to clean up the cabin, saying that the wilderness sees her as a cleaner because of her "clarifying energy".
