Just a guess. She destroyed the rescue transponder. She has a reporter tied up in her basement. She plants cameras in her friend’s hotel room.
I kept expecting blond girl to open door and jump in the water. It was the most obvious thing to do. She had time. Instead she just gave up and died...
Thats when I decided to stop watching this show. Nothing good is gonna come out of it.
So you expected her to survive when the other girl had a vision of her charred face in a prior episode? The only expectation anyone should have while watching this show is that she was a goner in a fiery way once she got in that plane.

shareI kept waiting for her to open the door and jump or at least crack a window. But nope. She just sat there and waited for the plane to explode...
Another character makes a similarly dumb choice in the next episode so yeah this is headed down hill fast.
