The Aggression Towards a Porn Actress Doing Mainstream Work
More scary or pathetic?
shareI would say the aggression towards porn actresses is both scary and pathetic and here's why:
I think it's easy to stigmatize a girl who stars in pornographic films as being someone who had no real talent so they went into porn as some sort of consolation. Whether or not this is true is we'll probably never know, but regardless of how a person makes the choice as to what career they enter that does not provide any excuse for being critical towards a person just because they appeared in pornographic films before appearing in a non-pornographic film.
If you live in the United States and use half of your brain you can easily see that public figures often do morally questionable things and then continue to prosper or find a renewed success as they underwent some sort of transformation due to crises.
Regardless of what is in the past I think that any aggression or criticism towards an individual who appeared in porn films is silly and shows a degree of ignorance on the behalf of the critics. It's scary because, as someone else mentioned, far too often the most vocal opponents of immorality are usually more guilty than their targets. It's also pathetic because I view films to partake in the narratives presented and if the narrative is more effective because of the actors/actresses playing the parts then it really doesn't matter to me if the lead was a porn star or a homeless person.
Dislike what UR viewing _what UR hearing _whatever's happening! U could go elsewhere or turn it off

Pathetic, I think. Anyone who did not know she was a porn star would get no impression that she was from watching this movie. Her porn star career is irrelevant to her performance in this movie.
