Nate is evil. You can see the descent with his spitting in season two. I was hoping the restaurant girl would continue to ignore him. Alas….

You're going to be dissatisfied then. He's definitely cued for a redemption arc this season.

Yeah, just one of my issues with this season. His arc never showed his redemption, just "ok, Nates a good guy again ". This season is not great, unfortunately.

Ted goes home, coaches MLS. Nate sees he was wrong and becomes coach of Richmond. A terrible season tied up with a terrible bow

2 episodes left, but I don't have high hopes. This season has focused on the worst characters and mostly ignored Ted.

I think they were trying for the "redeemed by the love of a good woman" trope, but that was left largely to the imagination especially since she softened to him while he was still being a twat.

What a stupid arc. Nate's arc in season 2 with the anger issues felt completely out of place and then hiring him as coach for a prolific club is even more ridiculous plot as Ted getting the job in the first place. And then they not able to make him totally Darth Vader, but he is still somehow the nice guy.
And then he just quits? And is even still welcome back to Richmond? Come on.
