The lesbian relationship didn't bother me one way or the other, but it did feel like it had been put there just so they could say 'Look how cool we are, we included a lesbian relationship!'

I believe Netflix places quotas on diversity, like, we produce your movie but it must include xyz diversity and inclusivity crap.

This must be why it seems so forced

Ah, right. I knew their stuff was known for wokeness, but I didn't know they actually stipulated that creators include X amount of this or that.
