Why could the alien not suck up OJ under the bleechers? We are told it sucked up the whole audience there and see it attack OJ when he is hiding under the bleechers there later. It cuts away and OJ just wakes up afterwards. He must have passed out but otherwise he is OK.
Jean Jacket later on goes over to the house and is able to suck Keke Palmer through the roof with no problem.
Why? How? Mistake in writing?
Would government or big tech not have noticed this thing with all the electrical interference before?
Where would such a creature even come from and manage to stay undetected with its huge footprint?
It was hiding in the clouds. the cloud didn't move. But it was hiding in plain sight, that's why it was undetected by most.

Emerald gets sucked up along with the house because Jean Jacket was following her, but once she fell out of its vortex, it forgot about her again -- she knew not to provoke it by looking at it
