I've never heard of this movie but I looked at the cast and it's all blacks and Asians.

So I get that it's about white aliens coming to earth to enslave black earthlings?

I understand the 'white colonists looking for slaves in Africa' metaphor.

But the whole thing sounds bizarre, especially since there are no blacks in small towns in central California. 🤣

And I'm curious what are the Asians doing while all this is going on?

Africans were captured and enslaved by other Africans, then sold to white slave buyers. We white people bought. We did not capture and hunt, at least, not until they were initially not kidnapped and sold to us. Let’s not ignore Africa’s complicity in slavery.

Check your history books that cover the actual slave trade. Africa was a dangerous fucking place to be at the time of the slave trade. Sailors on a slaving shit never ever wanted to go out and try to catch slaves because the odds were better that they would get killed by something than actually catch a slave. Back then their were lots of wild animals everywhere and diseases that were easily caught and would easily kill you. I think the only place you'll see white slavers catching black men is in the fictional TV series Roots.

None of what you posted disputes my points. The catching and kidnapping of African slaves was done by Africans, not by white slave traders. The traders sold the merch. They did not harvest it. You are the one who needs to check your history books, and to read my posts more carefully.

I was responding to your line "at least, not until they were initially not kidnapped and sold to us." Which seemed to imply that at some point white had to round up the black slaves when the slavers stopped doing it. Unless you were trying to say that whites only rounded up blacks after they had become slaves in America... but if that was your point it is a very awkward sentence.
