Sure, it's raunchier and more modern, and leans more into the horror elements, but it's basically the same as the first few seasons of PLL. There's male characters instead of female in some instances, but if you know PLL, you can see who's who and who's a mix of who pretty much straight away. The only thing that's different is the cult stuff - but honestly, the cult stuff would've been plausible in PLL.
shareYour post makes it seems good and I hope it's better than the second movie. Since I enjoyed Gossip Girl reboot which also has 5.3 rating, I'm sure I will enjoy it too.
sharePLL was a bit of a mess, but for teens, it was fine (until the last few seasons - those were utter garbage and I will not be convinced otherwise). So if you liked it, this will be okay. As for the Gossip Girl reboot, I enjoyed it was much, much more than the original because the original imo was kinda awful. Idk if I liked this reboot yet, I just know I recognized so much of PLL in it on first watch.
