This was so good on every level, the acting was really great, the genre and story writing were really interesting and compelling and the filming/cinematography was perfect. I hope more people see this series because it's the best thing I've seen in years. The English dubbing was so good and not distracting at all, I've never heard dubbing so flawless and matched perfectly with the Korean actors.

*spoilers*

This was a Hunger Games kind of storyline but they did it so much better than the Hunger Games movies. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen for a minute.

I agree with you, the series is very well made and the acting is excellent. Watching ep 5 now

I've watched two episodes and it is excellent. Can't wait to continue it tonight. It's beem awhile since I've watched a show this intriguing.

But I'd recommend watching it without the dubbing. I really think you miss something when you don't hear the original actors, who are really good in this.

That's a good point about the dubbing, I'm usually doing something else while watching a show when I am alone, I'm an illustrator, so I'm not looking at the screen so much, I need the dubbing to know what's going on.

In general I would agree with you for sure, I know you miss a lot of detail with the dubbing as well but the english voice actors did a VERY good job

I added this to my list, I am not sure when I will get to it. I am pretty backed up on my streaming watch list.

Put it on top of the list.

That's what I did.

Heck, I didn't even put it on my list, I just said what the heck and started it.
500 TV shows and movies were put on hold to try this one.

It was the right decision for me.

My wife and I just binged the entire season over the course of two nights. It’s an incredible series. It actually has the look and feel of a Stanley Kubrick movie.

That's a great point, it does seem like Kubrick's style. I like Kubrick but I'm not a huge fan of his directorial choices, particularly in music, this was better in every way to me. I've loved a lot of Korean movies but this made me see Korea in a whole new, much more relatable way.

Absolutely! My wife watches lots of Korean shows and most seem to be romantic dramas, so I usually check out, but Squid Game is totally different and I was hooked. Gave me a similar feeling as when I used to watch the TV show Lost in its level of character intrigue and excitement.

Yes! I found the main character's sense of humor really got me which is a fun language and culture gap I didn't realize could be crossed.

Finally finished it & it's quite fantastic. I enjoyed it more than Alice in Borderland. That series kinda fell apart in the second half of the season.

This was consistently good. I thought the finale was a bit weak but I thoroughly enjoyed the series as a whole. The games were awesome. Loved that they were 'fair' for the most part.

Every single person gets a fair chance of winning.

The marble game episode was so well done. The gut wrenching realizations that the characters went through really hit home. Just imagine being the married couple. When 001 lets 456 know he knew what he did was great.

That scene was such emotional torture. It was Really well acted, excruciating.
