They missed out on what could've been a great scene
Since they were bringing back people who knew Spider-Man from other multiverses, why not bring back J. Jonah Jameson from the Tobey MacGuire version. He was played by J.K. Simmons, the same actor who played Jameson in this film.
We could've had a J.K. Simmons vs. J.K Simmon scene, one bald and the other in a bad toupee. It could've been hilarious.
