Do I need to watch previous movies to enjoy this?
I haven't seen Garfield's Spider-Man or any Venom movie, because they all seem to suck.
Should I get on this, or just ignore?

You definitely won't need to see the Venom films. Even if by some multiversal madness he's in the film, all you need to know is that he likes to eat people, and on his home planet he was something of a nerd. I doubt you need to watch the Garfield Spider-Man films, either. Be aware that he fought a professor who turned into a giant lizard, and a nebbish engineer who gained the ability to control electricity, and you should be good.
That said, I have no idea what is going to happen in this film, so after the fact you may need more background, but I don't *think*you will.
Lastly, while both Venom movies are pure garbage, the two Garfield Spider-Man films, while uneven, aren't unwatchable. They have some high points, and some pretty bad low points, but there are worse films to watch.
Far From Home is all you're gonna need. If you're at least familiar with the characters from the other titles I think you'll be okay.
shareThe latest Spiderman is a little weeny bitsy cry baby with the physique of a 5 year old. The ONLY reason I might watch this is for Doctor Strange. Doctor Strange is badass, more so than Iron Man.
shareIf you have free time, it can’t hurt to give them a watch.
Might as well get some context while you’re waiting for this movie.
