Replacement for Rufus?
It sucks that George Carlin is no longer with us to reprise the role of Rufus but since he’s gone who would be a suitable replacement? My pick would be Ringo Starr. He could play his brother Brutus.

shareCarlin cannot be replaced. Maybe bring him back in some form.
shareThey can get a totally different actor for Rufus and he doesn't even have to act the same. Since time travel is involved, they can explain it by B&T showing up when Rufus' parents were getting busy and about to conceive him and their arrival caused a slight delay in Poppa Rufus' orgasm, thus a totally different sperm fertilized Mom's egg.
sharethey should just get someone to play Rufus's kid remember the end of Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure where he gets them to Autograph the CD for his kids. because they are big fans everyone is
shareMaybe any of the hair metal performers of that time (89). They're all probably older now than Carlin was then. Many to choose from.
shareAnybody but Ozzy and his God-awful Brummie accent.
And certainly not Axl Rose or Gene Simmons.
Or pretty boy Bret Michaels.
Or butt ugly Rob Halford.
And I’m sick of Steven Tyler.
I can’t imagine most of them acting to begin with.
🖤👹🖤
MEATLOAF.
shareThe obvious answer is to keep Rufus in the Pam Grier costume.
shareWhy don't they just do what they did in the Sopranos with Tony's mom after she died? Use preexisting footage and arrange the dialog in a way that makes sense. They could even do what Star Bores Rogue One did with all that cgi to bring back Peter Cushing. Carlin can still be in this- the technology has been here for a long time. No need to recast- that would suck and be an insult to Carlin.
