I have never wanted a sequel more then this one

I really Don't like movies that are just part 1 and 2, this needs a 3 because we haven't seen how they achieve world peace with their music. and the whole part where they're in their 50's and still haven't achieved their destiny even tho they are told their future sounds pretty funny.

First movie i been excited to watch since Harold and Kumar Escape Guantonomo Bay

I disagree. I think this is as unlikely to be good as the sequel to "Ghostbusters" that's in production.

Some things should just be appreciated for what they are, or were. And nobody should be allowed to squeeze every last dime out of the idea, not even Winter.

well idk Harold Ramis is gone

I agree, Otter. Every story needs three parts? Really?! The BIBLE did it in two parts! What the hell is wrong with people? Yes, that a rhetorical question.

reply

Yeah well, the people who wrote the bible weren't trying to squeeze every last cent out of the property.

OR WERE THEY???

That’s very funny, but I think that the best way to make a buck is to do something that’s right, rather than something that’s formulaic. The Bible got it right. The Old and New Testaments resonate with people, and the people of two related but different religions donate. And the Faith(s) spread(s).

As I’ve said too many times before, Tolkien wrote The Lord of the Rings as a SINGLE volume, and the cheap and cowardly publisher hacked it into three books, but it remained a single, coherent story. I am no longer going to explain the difference between a true trilogy and three related but incontiguous movies, just as I no longer waste my time explaining why a climax need not have a “twist.” My Stoli Martinis have a twist. A climax, not so much. Also, shaken, not stirred, and neat!

Funny how everyone but movie studio executives understands that it's better to make a good movie than a formulaic one.

And THEY are the ones who get paid to make movies.

There's definitely something that feels unfinished about the Bill & Ted movies. The idea is funny. The title is funny. The actors still look great. I'm very excited for this movie. But i'll believe it when I see it. I don't think it's ever getting made. I hope they don't make them too stupid. It was funny when they were kids, but I don't want to see 50 year old men acting like halfwit morons.

Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves will fall right back into the roles like they played them yesterday at it wont be as sad as Dumb and Dumber to which should of been made no later than 2004

What is the point of a sequel with no George Carlin? Every video about this on YouTube, the comments mention this over and over. This is gonna flop.

reply

you're right all the comments say that .
but ...
he was barely in it!
