What's really going on with the Hulk

One of the most powerful beings in the MCU universe has been reduced to nothing more than comic relief. It's as if they've just given up on the big guy since Ragnorak.

Hulk is toxic masculinity personified.

Does this stance also apply to She-Hulk?

reply

It doesn't I'm afraid.

Maybe Hulk's on hold.

I read an explanation by Ruffalo years ago about a long sit-down he'd had with Feige.

Since the MCU couldn't afford to make a standalone Hulk movie until Universal gave up the license, Ruffalo and Feige discussed what each of them would like to have seen in a Hulk trilogy.

According to Ruffalo, what they finally settled on was worked into "Ultron," "Ragnarok" and the last two Avengers movies.

So if his story's mostly "done," maybe they really have given up on Hulk, at least for the time being.

The latest episode of this show certainly seems to suggest as much. He appears headed to Sakaar, possibly to depose the Grandmaster and perhaps change things up a bit.

Or maybe he's just going there to get back in the ring.

Either way, he's clearly WAY out of the picture at the moment.

reply

Disney has turned him into a candy-ass.
