Matrix 4 was a great opportunity of how the Matrix program manipulates society into conforming.

However to go from Matrix 3 which ended the franchise, to bringing back the films we loved has been now done. Drew Goddard has now Trinity and Neo that can be CG created like the "The Burly Brawl" from 2003, but now to a 2025 film standard. I remember chatting with friends in 2003 at the spliced clips that were CG being not sharp enough. In the end it was supposed to be Neo in the Matrix itself so we did not mind it being computer graphics.
Now in 2025 there is a chance, with what is possible, that the CG characters could be indistinguishable. Now that is worth the wait to see how much better it could be.
