It was an interesting mystery: were the first 3 movies just a video game Keanu developed? Was he going crazy and having trouble separating his game from reality? I wished they had kept that going for longer, possibly the whole movie. Once the Matrix question is answered for him and the crappy FungKu starts happening, and characters start pulling super powers out of their asterisk, the movie goes down hill fast.

I don't mind the shift into a more traditional narrative, but the second half of the film wasn't that exciting or entertaining really, and part of that, I think is because, there's not that much story there, and the action scenes weren't filmed particularly well.
I did like it when characters started pulling super powers out lol but given the randomness of it all, it was hard to really get invested into it.
