Well if you started with a ground breaking film like The Matrix, and the series reduced itself to this, I would probably phone my performance in as well.

If he signed on for this film after reading the awful script then that’s a real shame because he didn’t need to do this movie at all with how successful the John Wick franchise has been for him.
That's sort of been his m.o. since the Wick fame.
