How many trans messages will be foreced into this one?
Im predicting about 4.
shareat least 1 or 2 every act. so yeah about 4 or 5 at least...
shareI'm expecting it to be the resolution of the entire story and ultimate message of the film's climax. In fact, Trinity and Neo are probably going to merge into a super being.
shareThat was already done in 1973's "The Final Programme". SPOILERS
The hero and his female accomplice have sex and merge into a super being. Ironically, the super being turned out to be a hermaphroditic ape-man
Since Matrix was an amalgam of The Invisibles and Ghost in the Shell, I would expect them to steal from yet another property so that they can TRANSform it into their truth.
shareProbably a lot. I'm not particularly interested in seeing it, because only the first one was good, and I don't have a lot of faith that the Wachowskis can come anywhere near close to matching the awesomeness of that first movie. And I'm saying this as someone who was an on-screen extra in 'Reloaded.'
'Reloaded' sucked. 'Revolutions' was abysmal.
The drop in quality from the first film to everything that came after it really is pretty shocking. They largely still have careers because of that one movie.
shareThe overlying message will be the whole system of the matrix itself is some trans-dimensional thing where it has a lot of trans stuff.
shareI hope they don't push it too much. It would break immersion.
Even if you choose some alternate gender avatar in Matrix, which I guess will happen, that doesn't change your real body, or your brain hardwiring, or your biology. That's still the same. It's like playing a female character in a videogame: it doesn't make you a female. No matter you play a female character, your brain is still a male brain. Matrix is just a incredibly immersive VR game.
In the film alone or including marketing?
shareAll of 'em.
shareI think they will force all of them in this one and add some you've never heard
