I've been watching this series for the first time, and am in season 3 as I write. The writers didn't think to wrap up a few story lines for the viewers. I was wondering if I missed something on the board here. 1) Who runs the hotel since James Dowland left? 2) Now that Margaret and Mr. Brown are married, where do they live? It wouldn't have taken the writers more than 10 seconds to explain. The exterior of their bedroom is a new location I'm not familiar with. 3) Mentioned in another thread, but the writers again could have spent 10 seconds of explaining where Nan went. Someone else mentioned that the blacksmith just disappeared without explanation as well. A good writer has respect for his/her readers or viewers in wrapping these kinds of stories up. It's too bad they didn't bother. Overall I like the series a lot so far, especially the goings on in Candleford. I find the Lark Rise people boring - and why are there are these kids with no story lines? (yet). They're put there like props. Alf's hair season 3 makes him look like Marc Bolan (T-Rex)...when you google search that, you're going to laugh!
