Imdb rating is 5.1 because of 30% 1* votes. Pilot ep is 7.5, I gave series 7*, somewhat woke.

It's the same assholes who rate every episode of modern Trek 1*, they are racist and hate Kurtzman. Negative reviews are similar too, WOKE, two black leads, can't act (quite famous actors). Just canned responses.

I think a lot of those 1s pile in from people who have not seen the film or program - sometimes before it's possible to have seen it. IMDb quite rightly discounts and adjusts those kind of scores and over time they become insignificant anyway. It's always obvious it has happened when you look at the voting pattern and there is a normal curve then a huge spike of 1s.
