This one was a bloody mess, an over-analysis of Bond, M and MI6 that truly goes nowhere..

"Spectre" is far worse. "Skyfall" had some very good scenes in between the lame ones, like the villain's creepy monologue about rats on an island, while the only part of "Spectre" that's worth watching is the extended opening stunt.

That was absolutely dazzling, technically awesome and thrilling and gorgeous and AWESOME, but the rest is just unwatchable!

The opening of Spectre was solid... As was the train scene... A rare sensual moment in this series... the rest of the film ranged from the average to the awfull... Waltz was horrible...

It really is too bad. I normally adore Waltz, but even I have to admit that some things are beyond his power.

Like playing a slick American salesman in "Big Eyes", and saving "Spectre".

Spectre was weaker than this. And Quantum of Solace was the weakest of them all, by far.

Spectre was weaker becaue it goes further inward in an anal and nerdy way... it becomes a soap opera about Bond's lost brother and various daddy issues...

I disagree, Spectre was an improvement (but not his best) over this film.

If I had to rank the Craig Bonds it would go like this:

1-Casino Royale (his best)
2-Quantum of Solace
3-Spectre
4-Skyfall (his worst)

That's my ranking too.

Skyfall is the only Bond film I just HATED on first viewing and never warmed to. I have no idea why it was so popular.

I love Spectre but I definitely see why people don't like it. It's certainly not the strongest Bond adventure, but I think it just oozes charm and cool all over the place. And it succeeds in being a celebration of all the Bond films better than previous attempts.

Quantum is awesome. One of my favorite Bond films. But again, I totally get why people hate it. For me it's just part two of Casino Royale anyhow, a bit of extended epilogue.

Casino Royale is probably one of the best Bond films, I can only give top respect, but I tell you, I really find the film a terrible bore after watching it 30 times.
