Dance Jack! DANCE!!!!

What was that? LOL
That was so cringe to watch... Jack dancing in front of all the people on the town. And Frank continually saying: Dance jack! Dance for them! Let's make him spin!!!

“What was that?” applies to the whole movie.

It was the evil Kirk showing everyone who's the boss.

i can't think of any sane reason

or anything remotely linked to context to the rest of this film

reply

It was obviously implied that Jack HAD to dance for entertainment that night, for some perk or another within the Victory simulation, maybe him and his wife not being ejected.

Lord almighty the IQ levels around here...

It was a cringe to watch. Mayne he had him dance as punishment? I don't know. It was a stupid scene.

reply

It was stupid because you didn't understand it? It was supposed to be cringe, you are watching a puppet. It's important to the film.

Harry Styles agreed to make the movie only on the condition that he will get to do a dancing scene to show his dance skills. The producers weren't thrilled with the idea but agreed and made it completely ridiculous and silly, thinking that Harry will want it cut eventually from the final movie, but Harry liked it, so the scene was kept...

That story may be made up, but it's still more entertaining than the actual film.
