Hardly a success. Has to recoup the production budget as well as the money spent on prints and ads. Mark Kermode has always said that a film is a failure if it doesn't do more than double its budget.

I theeenk the budget was est 20 million? it made 56 so far? more than doubled.

(I dont have real numbers, just google)

Wikipedia says $35 mil budget at this time. Ah well, it's a moral failure regardless.

56 mil on a 35 mil budget means they're still in the red let alone made a profit.
