I agree with OP.
I FINALLY got around to watching it I was expecting Matt Damon to be some super hero in the Tommy Lee Jones mold who was going to go around Europe kicking ass and taking ames until he set his daughter free.
That didn't happen. Good.
Then, it looks like everyone is going to wind up living a cozy happy life for ever after and that didn't happen. Good.
Then Matt Damon's daughter is implicated and probably lying about the extent of her involvement. Good.
It was worth watching.
Yeah, well, my expectations were a lot higher I guess because I wasn’t expecting the show to be so empty of its contents because of the fact that the movie makers didn’t wanna pay to use the story so they did the best they could, which was lackluster at that, to keep from getting sued but still at least attempt to tell the story
This is definitely a movie. I’ll never watch again.
