Doctor Doom will take its place for Phase 4 starting with Fantastic Four. I feel like Galactus will have something to do with bringing the 4 into the rest of the MCU. Right now the MCU is in the 7th cosmos so I assume eventually Reed Richards will save the day along with Doctor Doom and Molecue Man if they go the Beyonder route. But first, Doctor Doom must be the villain. I am surprised they showed Galactus first before showing his herald Silver Surfer.

The whole MCU hierarchy can be confusing on who's the strongest since we're heading into cosmic being entities before the abstract come into play.

Well now there’s rumors that they are bringing Kang back. To what capacity I’m not sure yet.
It is kind of neat to see the MCU bring in a lot more FF villains than the previous movies. It even looks like John Malkovich is playing Red Ghost after all.

I wonder if it will relate to the Venom War where Kang was there along with Doom and the time-traveling F4 of the past hence why the upcoming movie shows them in earlier times.

They showed everybody Galactus right off to make it very clear he wasn't gonna be no stupid cloud this time.

Phase 4 ended with Black Panther 2. We're almost done with Phase 5, which will end with Captain America Brave New World. Fantastic Four is actually the start of Phase 6.

Oh shoot, you're right, thx for the correction (time flies). Actually phase 5 will end with Thunderbolts, not Brave New World. Correct on phase 6. Phase 6 will be like phase 3 with the two avengers movies.

Okay, so Reed Richard's builds a portal to escape their universe being consumed by Galactus and brings along Doctor Doom which Tony Stark of Earth-616 will realize the alter ego or someone he notices hence same mask, different task reference by RDJ.
