I hate the idea because of being a hardcore comics fan. I hope it's false. If you want a female silver surfer like character adapt Mattie Franklin after Silver Surfer has left Galactus. Or if you are insistent just have it be Silver Surfer stopped Galactus from invading Earth years before and that only certain people in the past like say Peggy Carter and Howard Stark knew about it. And that the Fantastic Four were around then and then got trapped in the negative zone.

Or just don't adapt the original Silver Surfer at all and just have Mattie Franklin who lives on Earth convince Galactus not to invade her home Planet and offers to be his servant to spare Earth. If you hate Silver Surfer being a man that much just do it that way.

I care because there was no reason to change this other than Disney hates males?? If it's not broken, why fix it and make it worse?? Well?? Tell ya what: I'm going to remake the movie "SHAFT" using a white man in the title role?? How well does that go over with the black community??
