Anyone else loves Halloween 2018, but was disappointed by this?
I thought Halloween 2018 was surprising and excellent from the start to end, but this one was somehow disappointing. I liked the hospital scenes, but that's it.

shareno, they both stank
shareI enjoyed Halloween 2018
Halloween Kills - not so much.
Yes. HALLOWEEN 2018 was actually a really solid reboot, teasing a rousing, good, full-bodied horror picture show out of really shopworn material. HALLOWEEN KILLS is borderline unwatchable--took a pack of really great ideas that should have formed the basis for a rock-solid sequel (a HALLOWEEN EMPIRE STRIKES BACK) and ground out an embarrassment to everyone involved.
shareI was looking for something different.
shareI hated the idea of another continuity reboot with the 2018 version, but this one got me on board.
shareEverybody.
The filmmakers should have aimed only for a single solid installment... not a trilogy.
There's not a lot of meat to stretch this out to several movies... you can 'feel' they don't have content and are just making stuff up and reaching... Halloween isn't based off 1000 page books like Lord Of The Rings or Harry Potter... it's just a man on the loose with a knife.
Yup. Loved Halloween 2018, this was such a huge letdown by how much of a decline in quality this was. Don't get me wrong, it had some decent kills, but almost nothing happens in this movie to advanced the story of the last movie and the ending was just stupid.
shareNo I haven't liked any since Paul Rudd.
