shareTerrible for domestic... but this type of movie is going to make a good amount of money overseas... it will bring a good profit from the international markets. Also the budget for this one was considerably smaller than the original spinoff that came out over a decade ago.
I doubt a Whitney Houston biopic or a movie about 1920s Hollywood will either one be a success internationally.
I just checked and the budget for Puss In Boots was 90 million + marketing. I hope it will at least break even, it was a genuinely good movie.

Babylon at least looks better and more cinematic... but who does it appeal to? The trailers are so fast paced - it has some actors-producers in the 1920s having "fun" but what is it actually about?

I have no interest in this movie but lets be real its a 3 hour r rated movie relased on December. The ads are so bizarre idk what the movie is trying to be. Almost looks like that other Robbie Movie that came out this year
