I actually went into watching this movie with a very open mind. Looking forward to it despite what other people said about it.
I came out very disappointed. Although it's nice to see how Anne became Anne, but there was so many stories going on in the movie it was hard to keep track .
This movie hurt my cherished memories of the book series. I've read every single one many times and this was just utter BS. Gilbert didn't die in any of her books! She had seven children, her parents both died when she was a baby hence why she was an orphan. The liberty they've taken to create some total other story with such a classic and beloved series is beyond stupid. I loved the first two movies, they were no 100% exactly like the books but they were pretty close/in tune with the writing of the novels. The next two movies I can't make myself watch again. When it comes to Anne movies you need to get it right in my opinion. There are way too many faithful fans out there who ave a picture in their minds about who Anne is and her life and this movie does not represent this AT ALL.
