Same here, and I’m a completionist.

I’ll try to finish it at some point but Christ was it boring. Fincher needs to go back to making excellent thrillers, or reboot Mindhunter.

It’s been far too long since Gone Girl.

I only lasted about fifteen. It was like what someone who has not watched many old movies or read much about 1940 imagines what old movies and 1940 were like. Not only that, but the production design and dialogue were full of anachronisms. I thought about whether I could take another hour and a half of it, and decided not.

That's about the time I opted out. Boring af.

same here. this seems on all fronts the sort of movie I would love. the actors, the premise, the history, the look. none of it added up for me at all. i don't think there's a right mood i'll ever be in to finish this. maybe when i'm an older man.
