anyone else think "worst movie ever" is a little harsh?

for me, Transformers 2 is a solid 6/10

a lot of people reeeeeeeeaaaaaaally hate this movie, with great passion, many declared it the worst movie of not only the year but the decade as well, it is called a particular abomination that is the lowest form of scum, now you can hate any movie you want, i'm not saying you can't hate it but, in all honesty, i think a lot of the hate is a little bit... harsh.

i mean what are the problems of Transformers 2? well the acting isn't great, the humour is extremely annoying whether it be from the parents or whatever Michael sticks a pair of balls to, it's way too long and the script is rather rushed and thoughtless and the characters all feel forced.

but what are some of its good points?

well it looks really nice in my opinion, i like the behaviour of the camera and the way it moves, Optimus is still a badass, the CGI is pretty great, the transformers all have awesome designs, the fight scenes can be very entertaining, my favourite being the final fight between Prime and the Fallen and on a technical level it does everything just fine.

what do you think? do you think it's great and under rated? do you feel how i feel? or do you flat out hate it, whatever you think, and if you want to, do tell, i'm curious to see what people think, i mean i know the common conception is it's horrible, but the amount of people who genuinely love it is fascinating, so i'm really curious, what do you think?

I hate it.

I hate the cinematography, and how everybody is orange and the backgrounds have a constant dark teal tint, how most heads in the shot are not in frame, how every object is shot like we're watching a porn.

I hate the directing, and how it feels like something you'd see in a YouTube sketch from a wealthy channel, how every woman is shot like she's in a porno.

I hate the forced humor, and how it's akin to something a 5th grader would write, how only a 5th grader could laugh at it.

And I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, HATE the writing. Extremely dated political jokes, a stoned mom running around a college campus for three minutes TWO dog sex scenes, edgy swearing that sounds thrown in "just to be cool", racist stereotypes out the wazoo, giant dangling Transformer testicles, and Transformer heaven. Throw in a complete lack of story and some of the laziest and douchiest dialogue ever and you've got one of the worst films ever.

Good things? Uh, I mean I guess the CGI and sound are both good, but neither will really be remembered, and neither help the film hold up in any way possible.
