So every single other 4/10 looking gal he knows swoons over him. All ugly women are automatically smitten with handsome millionaires? The ugly ones are shallow? Except her, the one that has been living with him in a relationship for so much time? She was never into him.

It's not that unbelievable that he is used to get attention and kicks from women, but when he met Cecilia she put up more of a challenge to win her over and that's why she became more interesting and the reason he obsessed over her.

That comes with the assumption that there were no other 4/10s like her that required wooing. It's insulting. Also bad writing. This movie was pants. Even beside the bad casting.
