She is FAR too old for such scenes now. It's the right time for her to play mothers of teenagers rather than single young ladies looking for a husband! Searching for lost youth is pathetic.

And as I said before, she should have done this (play in a naked scene) 20 years ago. If she decided not to do that, she should not change her decision now, when it's too late.
3. A 35-year-old actress (or younger), I don't know who exactly but it does not matter, would make this movie much better.

I suppose that you also disagree with Diane Keaton & Kathy Bates getting their gear off in "Somethings Gotta Give" & "About Schmidt" respectively despite the fact that both those scenes were hilarious and highly relevant to the plot development.

I'm not even going to speculate how old you are because it doesn't matter. You're entitled to your opinion; however, Sandra Bullock looks better than many women half her age. My boyfriend and I have seen this movie many times now because we thought it was so funny. He's mentioned on many occasions how beautiful she is. (NOT HOW BEAUTIFUL SHE "WAS" 20 YEARS AGO, AS YOUR POST SUGGESTS.) I guess the "operative" word here would be "IS".

shareEven if you think onscreen nudity is only for the purpose of exhibiting a "perfect" (larger breasts, maybe), young, taut body, you are wrong, evidenced by the overwhelming number of posters saying so here. Thing is, it wasn't even for that purpose. It was for the purpose of engaging the audience in the situation of being discovered naked. Her character was not "undressing in front of a camera". Her character was unintentionally exposed to the protagonist (Andrew) and appropriate modesty was expressed. It was very well shot.

Nope. She's still hot, not just for a 40-year old.
She looks stunning - even without any reference to 'for her age'.
Like another poster said, I thought she looked smokin' hot, for any age. In fact, I think she looks a lot sexier now than she did before. Before, she looked too cute. Age has ripened her a bit, at least in my opinion.

shareI looked hard at those scenes, close up, and you could never see the face well when she was naked so it may have been a body double. I do believe Sandra doesn't do nude scenes, but I could be wrong.
She looked great in this movie compared to a very skinny Sandra in "All About Steve". She looked anorexic in that one, I suppose for the part.
She may be old, but dang billy she still looks good in my book.

I did not see any nude, SaNDRA BULLOCK,just carefully covered.The scene where she was alone in the bathroom with the towel and dog...whoa...her legs and hips are so tan and so very fine.Don't you think so?
