Most annoying movie ever

This movie could have been a nine- or even ten-pointer had it not been
for the "main" character Manuela Velasco (Àngela Vidal) who literally
wrecked every scene she was in (i.e basically all of them). As the time
went by both me and my girlfriend grew more and more pissed over this
hysterical loudmouthed piece of nothing who just destroyed the
atmosphere and both our ears. Just don't know to whom we should file
our deepest complaints - the writer, director, Angela or all of them?

I totally agree, she ruined this film. So *beep* annoying.

I fill ya. She made me wish for her to get it faster

Lol so true. I was actually pissed off during most of the time because of her. I can't even comprehend why they would make this character. I gave the movie only 4 stars because of her and the headache worthy camera.

I managed to get through whole 14:35 minutes before I got enough... wtf? This is one if the best in the point if view genre? don't think so. far from it.

She looks like a boy (even with the long hair) and sounds like a boy. Her voice annoys me especially when she's screaming with that boyish voice! Ugghh!!

However, I think she's actually good (albeit annoying) when she's not being a "TV host" talking in front of the camera explaining what's going on behind her. I don't believe her as a TV host at all, she's not convincing as a TV host. I've seen Grave Encounters (the first movie) and now that guy got it right.

But having said all that, I still think Rec is a pretty good movie.

Watching this movie for the first time and couldn't agree more with the OP. Her constant screaming and "Pablo! Pablo!!!!" irritates me and takes me out of the movie a bit.

I've never fooled anyone. I've let people fool themselves.

You nailed it. From the get go she annoyed the hell out of me. i speak Spanish so i was happy to realize it was a Spanish film. A few minutes into it and all i was thinking about was how damn annoying she was. Maybe people reading the subtitles don't realize just how bad and annoying she made the film. The movie would have been so much better with a different character that wasn't so in your face and outlandish and loud and the "look at me, hey look at me, me, me, can we talk about me, lets make this about me" type. I felt so relieved when she died. Pablo was the only likable character.

It was also very unrealistic how Angela and Pablo kept getting in the way. They are there to document and instead they get in the way of people working and make their presence completely known. Also, why was the camera so shaky even in moments they werent moving? Pablo needs some professional camera lessons.
