Why did Amazon Spend 20 Million on this?
Tiny theatrical release.
No disc release.
No VOD.
How can Amazon ever even recoup that?
Plus they spent money advertising (billboards here).
Do they expect hordes to sign up with Prime, or others who were planning to bail turn around and stay?
I’m happy they made a quality film for thinking adults, remaking a 70’s horror classic. It’s like a free gift to Argento fans. Just not sure what’s in it for Amazon.
