Although I avoid applying politics to movies, and although I consider myself more of a left-leaning independent, I highly doubt the scenario in the movie would be a Democrat's wet dream. It seemed like capitalism at its most extreme. Who would be more likely to support Castle's mega billion dollar corporation?
If I was looking at this from a political standpoint, I see the Democrats as siding with the hackers who wanted to stop Castle and the Republicans supporting Castle because of all the money he was making.
Plus, I really don't see any Democrats being for the televised murder of death row inmates. That sounds pretty Republican to me.
