NO movie is as BAD as this one.

Oh man, I saw this at the Academy with an audience of about 4 people. It was painful to watch and extremely embarrassing. I haven't seen a movie this bad in a long long time. One of those movies where you're constantly saying, "this wouldn't happen this way". These chicks would not spend their graduation night with those two guys. The acting is broad and over the top in the worst sense. The direction as bad as anything I've ever seen. The jokes fall as flat as a stale pancake.

This is a sorry, rubbish, crap, appalling, mediocre piece of work i have ever seen..

I always love the way the kids in these High School movies are about 27 and act like morons.

Avoid like the plague.

the movie wasn't "the worse movie ever" but it was pretty crap though. The characters are not likeable at all (the nerds are toooo nerdy and the chicks are too superficial and stupid and awful and.... i could keep going on about their awful character traits) the action sucks (like the jock that just destroys the nerd's kitchen.. i mean call the cops.. *rolls eyes* please!) and lots of jokes just don't work cause there's absolutely no charisma between the actors.. in real life this could be a plausible scenario but not in a movie.

so really only 2 stars for this movie and none more!

i dream of cities
i dream of business suits
i dream of prostitutes
i dream of cities

The movie was bad but i am really tired of people saying "worst movie ever" and "i want my (runtime) back" watch more movies. there are a lot worse films...

living hell
cyote ugly
showgirls
the hottie and the nottie
step brothers
house of the dead

i could go on but you get my point

don't get me wrong this movie sucked. but stop abusing the "worst movie ever" title. you make yourself sound like a douchebag.

No, but there's "good bad" like SHOWGIRLS and VALLEY OF THE DOLLS and then there is "boring bad" like this movie. BIG DIFFERENCE

reply

Please see more movies. A lot more movies.

Plan 9 was good bad. Showgirls was sh!t.
I'm not debating this movie is bad. it was. but if you think it's the worst you have seen you have not seen very many movies.

I've seen thousands of movies, some films dozens, even hundreds of times. That's part of the problem. I'm jaded in that sense. This film is good for kids that haven't seen many films and don't expect much and aren't that critical. This film was junk to cash in on the teen market.

And SHOWGIRLS was good bad. Really good bad. I've seen that movie many times. I love it.

Here's some good bad in the Plan 9 variety . . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7n7yU4Apw_M

All i do is watch movies. so i get where you are coming from. If i see another "we need to get laid" comedy or "oops we accidentally killed our friend - covered it up - and now were all dying one by one" horror film, i may puke. and i still agree this movie was bad. But Showgirls was horrible. Way worse than I Love You Beth Cooper. Nothing good about it. Except the nudity but hey if i want soft core. I'll watch a Misty Mundae movie.

Gina Gershon was awesome in Showgirls as the evil dancern, that alone at least brings the film up to mediocre level. Horrible, unwatchable is "Fourth Kind" worst movie I've ever seen, don't wast your money. When I saw a movie like Beth Cooper, or Pirate Radio at least I was entertained for a few hours despite them not being very good. Fourth Kind looked like it was shot on a Camcorder by High School kids and the end credits looked like an HTML page. Not a momment was entertaining and I promptly called Comcast and got a refund for the $5.99 they were trying to fleece me out of for an OnDemmand HD feature.

I wish I could have voted this film lower than a 1.

I solely concur

This movie wasnt horrible but it was pretty bad, I didnt have to force myself to finish it nor did I turn it off halfway through. Some parts were slightly funny but the high point of the whole movie was seeing Hayden topless, that was half of the reason why I wanted to see it in the first place. When I first saw the previews for this in the theater it actually looked kind of funny.

I think the big problem with this movie is what a poster said early on in this thread:

The book and the subject matter are pretty heavy and realistic -- People peaking in high school and that's it -- But the studio wanted a typical teen comedy with over-the-top sight gags and slapstick comedy.

I think if this had been written more like an Alexander Payne (Election) movie it probably would have been one of the more unique "teen" movies out there because it would be different and be about a very real life phenomena that does happen to a lot of people once they graduate high school (a lot of people peak in high school and the rest of their life is mundane).
