People trying to pass this vile trash of as art.

It's f/cking laughable, but at the same time very disturbing. We're getting to the point with movies that we have become so desensitized to vile behaviour that we'll give the most outrageous excuses to justify the violence. There is no plot to this movie, the ending even seemed tacked on as a way to try and justify the sadistic grotesqueness of this movie. The director himself even stated he was inspired in to making this movie after seeing Hostel. In other words he was thinking to himself "I want to make an even sicker film than Hostel and I'll worry about the plot later".

I love horror and I've seen all the sick sh/t you can think of, Salo, Serbian film, men behind the sun, man bites dog, but none of those movies angered me as much as this nonsense.

The cretins who praise this movie will try to pass of anything off as "art". It'll get to the point were in twenty years from now these same morons will become so accustomed to this kind of vile nonsense that they will start defending real torture porn.

Yep, the horror genre is dead because of rubbish like this, Hostel, Human Centipede, Hills Have Eyes etc.

Umm... it seems a little weird that A Serbian Film, a movie where necrophillic and paedophillic rape is gratuitously depicted, angers you more than a movie that had less gore than the last Saw film.
As for the director's inspiration from Hostel, I'm pretty sure he said something along the lines of him wanting to focus on mental suffering more than physical suffering. And he did a perfect job of focusing on the emotional suffering of the characters, rather than trying to put gore in every scene. So no, he was not trying to make a 'sicker movie than hostel'.
By the way, this movie could have been much more graphic, yet it wasn't. The notorious skinning scene is only implied off-screen and gore is relatively scarce throughout the movie (refer to the above Saw example).

I don't see why the OP is getting such a hard time here. So torturing young women to death is a lot better than other atrocities....REALLY??? A man rapes a baby and that is obviously evil...but isn't torturing women? Are women worth less than other victims nowadays?
