I just watched Jackie Brown and Death Proof back to back. Jackie Brown was a decent film. It had some sweet music in it. But, it doesn't surpass Death Proof. The chase scene at the end was the most epic I've ever seen in any film ever. What does Jackie Brown have to offer that stacks up to that? You can't say this is QT's worst movie because it's not. I'd nominate Jackie Brown for that classification.

Well, lets see, I don't think Jackie Brown has anything "epic" about it, it's just a better film from a technical standpoint.
shareI disagree. Jackie Brown has a better story, better characters, and better pacing, in addition to the focus that Death Proof severely lacks. I'll admit that the car chase was pretty cool, but I had to sit through about a half an hour of unnecessary banter to watch it.
However, I think that both easily surpass Tararantino's first film titled "My Best Friend's Birthday."
