I was looking forward to this and told everyone at work especially those born in the 90’s whom had never saw the 1979’s Salem’s Lot! I’m highly disappointed! Where’s Tobe Hopper (Yeah, I know he died…RIP), Brian De Palma, Guillermo del Toro, John Carpenter, or anyone that could’ve done
justice to such a classic by Stephen King?

I was just 7 years old when I watched this tv miniseries with my parents and siblings. I liked that the vampire didn’t speak even though it did in the book. Salem’s Lot 1979 is one of the best horror movies ever in my opinion! I have it on VHS, DVD, and now on streaming through Prime Video.

I don’t know what this shi@t supposed to be! When I saw it was available on HBOMAX, I knew something was off because it didn’t go to the big screen! The trailer is awful! I may watch it when I need something to put me to sleep.

Without question! The clothes and the hairstyles might date, but the scares never go out of fashion. Creepiest vampires ever.

I still don’t even know if I’ll watch it, but I already bragged to my co-workers that there’s a new Salem’s Lot is coming out.

I want it to be very good (obviously it'll never touch the original), but from what I hear it's not. I'm sure I'll catch it somewhere, some time, but I'm in no hurry whatsoever.
