About that 5th Episode....

Marvel has done an excellent job in crafting a series that has a defined expression.

You're constantly left wondering just who is the unreliable narrator?

Oscar Issac is carrying a lot of weight and pulling it off superbly.

That "Inner Wounded Child" is a pretty heavy topic to deal with in Multiple Personalities, D.I.D.

Reason, excuse, rationalization or explanation?

Hmmmmmm...

Episode 5 was great, one of the best episodes of any of the Marvel Disney + shows.

I’m sure the season finale will very much be a big CGI final boss fight but I’m okay with that when this episode made the whole show worth watching.

Phase 4 really has had a lot of the heroes dealing with some sort of trauma.

Wanda dealing with the loss of Vision, Bucky living with the guilt of all the people he murdered as The Winter Soldier, Clint and Yelena both dealing with the loss of Natasha, Peter Parker dealing with the loss of Tony Stark and then his Aunt May.

Now we have Marc dealing with his past from an abusive mother, probably the darkest trauma yet. Oscar Isaac is giving a career best performance in this show and that’s saying something.

Interesting point in time:

But new subscribers aren't signing up for Disney+ which may be due to the fact that some think it wouldn't be gritty or adult enough because it is on Disney+. There is indeed blood in Moon Knight.

It’s definitely a show that I was losing interest in around about episode 3 but episode 4 was an improvement and episode 5 was a great episode that made me appreciate the rest of the show.

I think Obi-Wan next month will definitely bring in new subscribers to Disney +, there’s a lot of hype for that series.

I feel about the same. The 2nd and 3rd episodes weren't great, but the recent two have redeemed the series. I hope the finale holds up.
