Who think that Jake the main charcther looks exactly like Tom Cruise. especilly his big nose. A lot like a young 80s Cruise.

I was thinking this movie was a mixed martial arts version of top gun with Tom cruise lookalike and Vil Kilmer Lookalike.

Gigandet's more of a Brad Pitt lookalike, so it would be an MMA version of Interview With The Vampire.

Yeah, I thought that too.

It wasn't so much the nose, but the eyes. Especially when he was looking... keen... for want of a better word.

A bit like in Top Gun when Cruise is in the locker room telling Iceman "That's right. I am dangerous." and looking a bit crazy.

At other times he also looked a lot like Ben Affleck.

I was noticing this all through the film.

I saw a big resemblence at first. By the second half of the movie, I thought I was watching Tom Cruise from All the Right Moves, Risky Business and Top Gun. Faris had his smile down pat when he was talking closely to Baja.

I love Sean Faris, but towards the end, I was waiting for Mr. Miyagi to show up at the club and the blonde girl to walk in. Then in walks Baja.

"Leave the gun. Take the canolis."
