Just wondering - I never have; I was in Minneapolis a short time ago and wanted to check out The Nook, but never made it downtown. I'd love to sample a few of these joints.

I've been to three:
Memphis Tap Room in Philadelphia. Excellent food but my wife was disappointed because the Watermelon Salad is a seasonal item and wasn't available at that time.
Grilled Cheese & Crab Cake Co (NJ) - Also great food.
South 21 Drive-In (NC) - Absolutely Horrendous. Eight people with us. Only one person had anything good to say about the food.

In CA, every time we make the 3 hr drive to a beach, we try to hit one of the DDD joints on the way. So far none of them have been great and a few were even very bad. We are spoiled though. For all the misses we have had, we've found other places that are great. You don't appreciate how good the food is here in general until you venture out to places like Oregon.
