Watching these episodes seems kinda pointless

Just seems kinda pointless if you ask me, Oh wow we saw Peggy become a female Captain America and do what Steve did with some slight differences. We're just seeing stories we've seen before with slight changes.

I don't really have a need to see what if Peggy took the Super Soldier serum and did everything Steve did, who cares? Its not like the story was that different, except we had someone with a vagina doing the stuff instead of someone with a dick.

Have you never seen an anthology series before?

reply

Yeah anthology's where it was stories i hadn't already seen before with just slight differences, like just replacing a male with a female and slightly altering the story. Thats not really entertaining to me showing me a story i've already seen before just swapping characters with each other.

Your original complaint was that one story didn’t follow the next, which was why I asked if you were unaware if anthologies.

As to your second point that everything is the same except for being gender swapped, I don’t recall a proto-Iron Man armour or a tentacle monster being in the first Captain America movie. That said, this series’ entire premise is to show alternate reality versions of established characters, which is a concept that has been around for several decades. Anyway, if you find it pointless to watch it, I suggest not watching it.

Did i say i was gonna watch it? i watched the first episode and stated my issue with it.

My complaint about one story not leading into the next was mainly cause Marvel has always had everything connected and mean something, so to have a show where its nothing but random fan fiction stuff that doesn't matter at all to the universe i don't see the point.

And yeah there was stuff in that episode that didn't happen in Captain America like the goofy giant tentacle monster and a few things, so what? it was still the general idea of what happened, a person gets turned into a super soldier, they fight Red Skull and the Nazi's, they get frozen or suspended in time and wake up in present day and Nick Fury recruits them. They changed some of the middle but the beginning and ending was still the same.

Again, that is what an anthology is.

As for not mattering to the overall MCU, the writers have said that some aspects of this show will crossover to the movies and other Disney + shows.

The end was nothing like what happened at the end of The First Avenger. Really the only same part is Nick Fury telling Cap the war ended 70 years ago.

reply

I agree. Not a very creative effort.

Another gendered complain 😴
Same old, same old.

reply

I'm not complaining about gender, i'm complaining about a lame remade story with some slight alterations that just seems kinda pointless.

reply

It doesn't matter to them. They support the SJW agenda, so any criticism levied at Disney will be considered as attacking their agenda.

Why are your comments always the same? You only comment when you have to complain about "muh sexism11"?

You don't like when a spade gets called a spade?

It'll be interesting to see Peggy taking the super soldier serum. Her breasts will become super hardened and nipples the strength of vibranium. Even her menstrual cycle will completely go inert (like black widows dried uterus) and vaginal walls tightened like cold steel to show she needs no man to take on the evil white Hydra villains. It'll be fun, give it a shot.
