Moved to Hulu ... Is Disney homophobic?!

I mean it is starting to get suspicious that they cancelled Andi Mack while it had great ratings just as one of the main character became outspoken about being gay and now they moved a show to Hulu (Honestly hulu is the graveyard of original shows, no one barely speaks about Hulu originals) because it is...."Too grown up" for Disney plus?! So even a show about Teens is too adult for Disney plus ?! Sure..Yeah right! It seems that Disney are only OK with gays only when they are funny side characters that do not take too much screen time.

Could be. They also just ditched the Love, Simon spin off (Love, Victor) for being 'too adult'.

This show is now the most watched original show on Hulu and did so by its 3rd day of release. Hulu has some great original shows. "Little Fires Everywhere" was fantastic. As is "Castle Rock"
I think Disney made the right decision. It's a great fit for Hulu

That is awesome news! Hopefully it means that season 2 will be green-lighted! I still think Disney plus would have made the show reach a more global audience but at the same time they would have had to make the material as kid friendly as possible..It really is a double edge sword. Still, if season 2 is a get go I'll be really happy. I would have much preferred if the story was just one season and the next season would have moved to a new character but I really need a conclusion to Victor's story.

It was renewed for season 2 a couple of weeks ago.

It’s too adult for Disney + …. I cringed at all the things the characters were doing from episode to episode.
