Isn't this just Babylon (2022) all over again?

Two years seems like a lifetime ago. From what I've seen/read so far, doesn't Megalopolis just substitute New Rome for Babylon's old Hollywood?

Something about it reminds me of an Ayn Rand story. Maybe the gold aesthetic which I have seen used on some of the covers of her books.

Babylon wasn't as big a disaster as Megalopolis.
