Oh absolutely! The Hangover was funny but not nearly as funny as everyone hyped it to be. As usual for Kevin Smith, this movie was clever and innovative, and filled with laughs the whole time through.

Then again comparing Smith movies to any other comedies are like comparing apples to oranges. He's in a league all his own, and he never lets me down!

Yes, it's funnier than The Hangover. And that's a serious compliment, as I thought Teh Hangover was quite funny. Z&M is one of the most original Kevin Smith films, though. This movie has so many quick one-liner type jokes that are sometimes painfully funny. Very much a departure from the classic lengthy dialogues of Clerks and Mallrats.

Not to mention, Kevin Smith can REALLY make a heart-wrenching love story when he wants. I'm going to have to go back and watch Chasing Amy again, though I don't know that I will ever be able to say definatively which one is better.

Yes~ I didn't think The Hangover was funny at all. This one I liked.

I don`t see why you compare these two hilarious movies. I don`t wanna appear like a careworker but gotta say"they are both valuable, each one in its individual way".

Not even close. This was a good movie but the Hangover is easily one of the best comedies of all time. And almost all of Kevin Smith's movies get laughs from shock value.
