What a waste of a hot bod. But great show.
I loved the show but was just lamenting the character's lack of passion for physical intimacy. It's ok for the story but my God it's like looking at a Ferrari that never leaves a garage.

No Beth had the passion, she just had bad luck. Her first sexual encounter was with that stoner who for whatever reason was a lousy fuck.
Prior to that she had a crush on Townes from the moment she first laid eyes on him. But he was a homosexual who, although he wanted to try having sex with Beth, couldn't go through with it when the moment finally arrived.
Then she had bad sex with Harry Beltik and later on good sex with Benny Watts followed perhaps by lesbian sex with that French model who honey trapped her on the night before her second match with Borgov.
Of course Beth could have put herself out there more but she was focussed on the chess above anything and she also had a good streak of the loner in her as well. Even though the bottom line was that she needed people, or at least one significant person, in her corner or she was in danger of going off the rails.
Yup, I was too soon and commented after ep 5. She got a good lay with Benny.
