Why call it Clean if he's not even clean-shaven and wash his face in this movie?

And I'm not referring to his private parts....he has a rather dirty looking face and beard!

Maybe he's trying to become clean from his dirty violent past? That what we see is the struggles of this man to reach this level of peace?

Despite the ruggish looks, I could still tell that was Adrien Brody on the poster!
