how good is this?

I haven’t sent the movie but the book was great. What comes to mind is these guys racing across the desert at night in a Humvee packed with so much gear it was hard to move, dipping coffee grinds to stay awake and hoping for their first combat Jack.

This is one of my favorite mini series. The dialog alone is worth it if you like military stuff.

As with about all David Simon related items, this is good stuff. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed. Not only that, it captures how those that can, try, and those that can't, end up in positions that prevent those that can from succeeding.

I loved it when it was first on TV, bought it on blu ray and loved watching it again, and I'm in here now all these years later because I think I want to watch the whole thing yet again.
